First of all, thank you so much for helping me.
Nothing change after I ran fixup manually and pressed Shift+F9. In the view property, discard index option was set to "if inactive for 45 days." By the way, it happened early this morning again for the first time not on Mondays. In addition, there are 112 documnets that still show on the views; normally, I cannot see any documnet at all. I took your advice and wrote an agent to print total documents in a view every five minutes. And I found it happened between 3:58:56 AM and 4:03:56 AM on 3/26/03.
